Clinical negligence Solicitor Rose works from Thompsons Solicitors’ Manchester branch and handles cases across the north west from inception through to trial.

Running a varied caseload of fast track claims, Rose covers a variety of cases including failure to diagnose, failure to treat, misdiagnosis, surgical and dental errors and negligent treatment.

Before qualifying as a solicitor in May 2020, Rose completed a Bachelors of Law degree and Masters degree in Legal Practice (LLM LPC).

Being able to use the law to secure justice for people is very rewarding for Rose, especially when it involves protecting the rights and interests of working people.

Rose is proud of Thompsons’ position as the country’s leading law firm for injury victims.

Outside of work, Rose enjoys mountain hiking and horse riding and is an advocate fighting against the Chinese dog meat trade. As well as travelling to China to volunteer with animal rescue charities, Rose has adopted her own Chinese meat trade dog from Shanghai and helps charities through the use of social media by raising awareness.

Rose previously worked as a Foreign jurisdiction Solicitor in the Thompsons Manchester office handling a variety of fast track personal injury claims which involved a foreign jurisdiction element. Rose’s work required specialist expertise due to the different legal systems and procedures involved. This included handling claims involving the Montreal and Athens conventions as well as package travel, road traffic accident and employers, public and product liability claims.

Employers liability claim: Rose represented a flight attendant who was injured in the course of her employment duties. Her client sustained soft tissue injuries and a broken toe. Rose secured a £6,500 settlement for her client.
