Charlie Bradley is a senior lawyer based in the Leeds office, helping clients who have been exposed to asbestos and their families across the Yorkshire and Humberside areas.

Charlie has, over the 13 years since his qualification as a solicitor, worked on a variety of legal cases, including financial services and pensions. But he has always had a particular focus on personal injury claims and, since 2014, has specialised is asbestos-related disease cases, including lung cancers, mesothelioma, pleural thickening and asbestosis. He joined Thompsons in 2021.

As well as acting for those who had direct and high-level exposure to asbestos, Charlie has worked with women who have low-dose mesothelioma claims, some exposed while working in the offices and canteens of factories, and others to asbestos brought home on the overalls of their family members.

Charlie works closely with his clients to investigate claims and maximise the amount of compensation secured in the shortest time possible. With his calm approach, he is known for his sensitivity in dealing with both those suffering from an asbestos-related disease and their families, guiding them through what can be a challenging legal process at a very difficult time.

Insurers are known to evade responsibility if they possibly can, and Charlie is equally determined to leave no stone unturned in investigating the source of exposure to asbestos and identifying a company/insurer paymaster to fully compensate his clients.

For Charlie, the most rewarding part of working for Thompsons is being able to be unapologetic in his pursuit of a financial reckoning for his clients, with those who exposed them to asbestos and obtaining the maximum possible compensation to improve their lives and secure those of their loved ones.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys travelling, walking and spending time with his family.
