Simon Cuthbert is a Principal Lawyer in the Employment Rights team, based in Thompsons Solicitors' London office.

 

Since 2001, Simon has specialised in employment law and is committed to helping and representing employees and workers, including trade union members. He began his career at a law centre before qualifying as a solicitor in 2004. Over the following two decades, he worked in claimant-focused law firms before joining Thompsons in 2026.

 

Simon has successfully represented clients at all levels of the employment justice system, from the Employment Tribunal through to the Supreme Court.

 

In 2021, Simon was appointed as an Employment Judge and continues to sit part-time at the Bristol Employment Tribunal alongside his role at Thompsons Solicitors.
