Phil is the national practice lead for Thompsons Solicitors’ Multi-track Accident Team (MAT) as well as the team’s senior supervisor in the north-west region.
Working out of Thompsons’ Manchester office, Phil has spent 20 years representing injured clients, and has focused on cases involving serious and catastrophic injuries for over a decade.
Having accrued a wealth of legal skills and experience over many years, Phil uses his expertise to lead high-value cases of up to seven figures which include fatal accidents, chronic pain, psychiatric conditions, multiple orthopaedic injuries, amputations and head injuries.
Phil has developed and maintained close working relationships with national, regional and local trade union officials from various unions, and is Thompsons' main regional point of contact for the Fire Brigades Union (FBU).
In his role as MAT senior supervisor, Phil is responsible for a 10 lawyer team working on claims valued between £25,000 and £500,000.
Whether handling his own high-value case load or supervising the MAT, Phil’s priority is to ensure that the client’s interest always come front and centre.
For Phil, this means securing the maximum amount of compensation possible, accessing rehabilitation services at the earliest opportunity and forming relationships with clients built on trust and understanding.
Phil enjoys working at Thompsons because he has the opportunity to really help clients and their families by providing support and reassurance to them during what can be one of the most difficult periods in their lives.
In his spare time, Phil is a keen cyclist.
