Max has been qualified as a solicitor since 2019 and is a specialist within the medical negligence team in Cardiff, working on cases across Wales and South West England.
Max’s union clients, or members of their family, come to him with orthopaedic injuries, delays or failure to diagnose cancer cases, paediatric injuries, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. All Max’s medical negligence claims (including those for families who have lost a loved one) are complex and high-value.
Max runs all claims from start to finish - from initial instruction, through all the investigative stages, to final settlement or court hearing. Max regularly attends court hearings with clients and is known for the caring support he gives to bereaved families at inquests.
Max is as committed to putting the needs of his clients above all else. He finds that the most rewarding aspect about working at Thompsons is to work for a law firm that has a commitment to trade union members and the injured at its heart.
Since 2018, Max has been a soldier in the Army Reserves and enjoys shooting competitively, ultra-marathons and long distance adventure races to support his military training.
