Ellie Marston is an experienced lawyer working out of Thompsons Solicitors’ Bristol office, acting for clients from all over Wales and the South West in cases involving injuries of the utmost severity caused through road accidents or at work.
As part of the team working on catastrophic injury claims, including complex traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and poly-trauma cases, Ellie will be involved in assessing prospects of success and then ensuring the smooth progression of a claim to conclusion. Part of the client’s journey will typically involve Ellie supporting multiple needs assessments and then putting into place suitable rehabilitation packages, as well as ensuring that interim payments are secured early on to maximise recovery and independence for vulnerable clients.
Ellie, who has over two years post-qualification legal experience, is always aware that litigation can be daunting - especially for seriously injured client’s and their families. Ellie is proud of Thompsons commitment to help clients navigate the process in a professional and caring manner, to always keep our clients the focus of the claim and to only ever act for the injured and trade union members. Being able to remain close to clients from the beginning of a case to the conclusion and keeping them up-to-date with developments at all times is also important to her.
Outside of work Ellie is a keen amateur ballet dancer.
