Background

Clarissa began work as paralegal in 2011 before training and qualifying as a solicitor, She now specialises in medical negligence claims and injuries of the utmost severity.

Clarissa works for both trade union members and members of their families in the serious injuries team in Bristol. She has won life changing settlements for her clients, which has enabled them to handle the many challenges they face with confidence and financial security.

Her experience includes claims for clients with brain injuries and spinal injuries, as well as those who have claims related to mesh implants (laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy and rectopexy).

Uppermost in her mind in all the claims she runs, is that for her clients bringing a claim for compensation can be hugely stressful and support, guidance, clarity and reassurance are fundamental. Every client’s personal needs and goals are different and understanding them early on in a case is key.

Outside the office, Clarissa has a young daughter and a dog that keep her very busy.
