Lydia joined Thompsons Solicitors in March 2026 as a Paralegal in the Clinical Negligence team based at our Cardiff office.

 

Lydia completed her undergraduate Law degree in 2024, followed by the Legal Practice Course and a Master’s degree in 2025, both at Cardiff University.

 

She is committed to developing her career within claimant-only practice and hopes to obtain a training contract and qualify as a solicitor at Thompsons. Lydia is particularly passionate about supporting injured clients and ensuring they receive the compensation and care they deserve.

 

She enjoys working on a range of clinical negligence matters and has a particular interest in high-value brain injury cases, where the complexity of the work presents both challenge and reward.

 

Outside of work, Lydia enjoys travelling, playing the piano, and spending time with friends.
