The government has confirmed that the Employment Rights Bill (ERB) is due to have its third reading in the House of Lords on 3 September 2025.Â
Following the third reading, the Bill will return to the House of Commons for consideration of any amendments. Royal Assent is expected by the end of September 2025, at which point the Bill will become law.Â
