Figures published last week by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) show that although Britain is of the safest places in Europe to work, too many workers are still being injured or made ill by work.
Regulation 3 of the fixed-term regulations states that fixed-term employees must not be treated less favourably than permanent employees as a result of any act or deliberate failure to act by the employer.
