Thompsons Solicitors considers the effect Brexit will have on the UK legal system, with specific regards to workplace rights currently derived from EU legislation such as health and safety and employment law. Some rights could cease to apply from the moment Brexit occurs, whilst others will need to be actively reconsidered by Parliament upon the triggering of Article 50. Although subject to political will and future negotiations, Thompsons discussed essential review and changes to protect health and safety and employment law.
