Within more than 20 years’ experience in employment law gained both in house and in private practice. Prior to joining Thompsons, Lorraine worked in a niche employment rights practice in Northampton, acting predominantly for claimants across a range of sectors, advising on all aspects of employment law with a particular interest in pregnancy and maternity discrimination.  

Lorraine joined Thompsons in October 2022 and manages the Midlands Employment Rights team comprising 7 Lawyers and 2 Support Assistants.

The team specialises in Employment Tribunal litigation, acting for unions and their members across the Midlands.  As well as managing the team, Lorraine conducts her own caseload, including complex discrimination and trade union detriments claims.

Lorraine brings her extensive experience and strategic thinking to the team in dealing with employment claims and working closely with union clients.
