Businesses employing illegal workers face large fines and prison sentences, according to new rules which become effective at the end of February.
To be protected under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995, claimants have to show their “impairment” is long term.
The law makes pretty clear that if an employer unilaterally varies their employee’s contract, the employee should protest if they do not agree with it.
