The Work Foundation last week published its final report on the future prospects for low paid workers (defined as those earning less than £15,000). It has recommended that the government set out a strategic framework for a coordinated low pay strategy for the UK.
Employers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments if a “provision, criterion or practice” (PCP) puts a disabled employee or job applicant at a substantial disadvantage compared to someone who is not disabled.
Workers have the right to an allowance in lieu of paid annual leave if their employment has terminated and they have holiday outstanding, but what if the worker has died?
