TREVOR’S CASE EXPERIENCE

Accident at work claim: Trevor represented a scaffolder who, after falling 40ft from an unstable platform, suffered nerve damage, a dislocated shoulder, damage to his spine and fractured ribs. The employer denied liability but settled the case for £90,000 shortly before trail, after Trevor argued the platform was unsafe and unable to hold his client’s weight.

Non-freezing cold injury claim: Trevor’s client was a former serviceman who developed permanent pain in his hands from army training. The serviceman suffered non-freezing cold injuries following a winter training course. After spending most of a day training in cold and snowy conditions, Trevor’s client began to experience pain in his hands and feet, however his complaints were not dealt with seriously by his employer and he remained on duty. Trevor presented evidence from a vascular surgeon and a psychiatrist and secured £300,000 for his client.

Serious injury claim: Trevor represented an individual with serious injuries resulting from a fall at work leading to restricted mobility and rehabilitation, care and accommodation needs. The settlement package exceeded £1.5m.
