SUSAN’S CASE EXPERIENCE
Accident at work claim: Susan’s client’s arms were crushed by an extruder machine’s roller. In addition to fracturing both his wrists, the claimant suffered crush injuries to both forearms and a de-gloving injury. Susan secured a compensation package in the region of £500,000 for the claimant.
Mesothelioma claim: Susan representing a former painter and decorator who was exposed to asbestos throughout the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The employer denied liability, arguing that during the 1950s and 1960s the exposure was not severe enough to know that the claimant was at risk and that the claimant was not exposed to the toxic material whilst working in the 1970s. Susan argued against the employer’s position and the claimant received a settlement before the case went to trial.
Susan is accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a serious injury lawyer and asbestos lawyer.
