She has an impressive background in winning substantial amounts in compensation for industrial disease claims, asbestos-related conditions, military deafness, stress, dermatitis, hand arm vibration, asthma and silicosis.
Jane has built up expert knowledge of the damage caused to health by exposure to asbestos and the progression of the disease. She now specialises exclusively in handling a full case load of multi-track claims of all the different asbestos-related diseases, such as lung cancer and mesothelioma.
As this is a very complex area of law, Jane’s expertise involves her in gathering detailed medical and engineering evidence of exposure, her clients’ symptoms and any financial losses they have suffered or may suffer in the future. Jane must also use her skills of detection to painstakingly track down the parties responsible for the exposure and their insurers. As is often the case, they may have gone out of business or been taken over.
Jane represents both people suffering from asbestos-related conditions and the families of those who have sadly passed away from the disease. She gets to know her clients and treats them with care and compassion, knowing that no amount of money will compensate for the loss of a loved one or replace someone’s previous good health. She strives to get the best outcome for her clients, working sensitively and efficiently, helping to guide often distressed and grieving families through the legal process.
