Personal injury specialist Phil is the national practice lead for Thompsons Solicitors’ multi-track accident team (MAT) and the team’s senior supervisor in the North West of England.

Qualifying as solicitor in 1998, Phil uses his wealth of legal knowledge and experience to expertly handle high-value cases of up to seven figures which include head injuries, amputations, fatal accidents, multiple orthopaedic injuries, psychiatric and chronic pain conditions.

As the MAT senior supervisor, Phil is responsible for a team of 10 lawyers working on cases with a value of between £25,000 and £500,000.

Phil’s main focus, whether providing individual legal representation or leading MAT, is to ensure that the client's interests always come first. For Phil, this means maximising compensation, the provision of rehabilitation at the earliest possible opportunity and building a relationship based on trust and understanding with clients.

Phil is acutely aware of, and sensitive to, the life-changing nature of the injuries many Thompsons' clients have suffered and that these often have physical, psychological and financial impacts on both them and their families.

The most rewarding thing about working at Thompsons for Phil is being able to make a real difference to the lives of his clients and their loved ones when they need it most.

Outside of work, Phil is a keen cyclist.
